It has been absoulutley gorgeous here in Bamaland. The temps have been in the high 80's (which is a little warm for April) and we haven't had any rain
for a few days. I have even had a couple of hummingbirds flitting around. I love spring (except for the sinus problems I've been having) but I'm glad
the severe weather has passed for now and am hoping it stays nice and sunny!!!!
 
 Spring has sprung!!

We had nice weather, but now it's rain and storms. Right now we are having some really loud "bum-boomers" (what my son called them when he was
little and hated thunder.).
We needed some rain, but this is way more than what would have been helpful. Now we are in flood warnings, along with the severe thunderstorm/tornado warnings.

It's been in the 80s during the last couple of days. It hit 95 Saturday! I have a beautiful deep red sunburn on both shoulders, red arms and red legs.
That's what I get for reading on my back deck for about four hours straight.

It's been beautiful here in Kentucky too. However, I had to work most of those beautiful days. My yard was growing beautifully as well. It was
so thick and because of my long work hours, I couldn't mow it. Today is my first day off and rain was forecast for noon. Thus, last night after work, I
mowed/trimmed the front yard and did all the pruning. Had to turn on the security light to do the pruning, because I finished around 9:30pm. Today, I
mowed/trimmed the back yard. I started at 8:45am and finished around 11:45am. The rain started at 12:05ish. Perfect timing!!!! I'm really glad I
decided to mow the front yard last night, because I wouldn't have made it today. However, my neighbors weren't so lucky. When the rain started, it
was like the INDY 500 for lawnmowers.
