And now I am on crutches. The good news is nothing broken, just a really painful sprained ankle. Doesn't do a lot of good for my other foot with the
Plantar Faciitis, either. Did this yesterday morning when I was going to feed the dog. Spent a couple of hours in the emergency room getting an x-ray to show
no broken bone and having a splint put on. Then I had to drive to the store to fill the perscriptions and then home. Making this short because I still need
to keep it elevated and it doesn't work so well when I am sitting at the computer. ehehe

How about we buy a new laptop and you can network that one. ehehe Yes, I am ok. Just came back from the Podiatrist. It was suppose to be an appointment related
to the left foot Plantar Faciitis. But instead he worked on my right ankle. I am still on crutches for a day or two, but just to aid in balance. He put a
honk'n big boot on me. ehehe Then he gave me a driving shoe. Said I had to change from the boot to the shoe to drive (understandable, since the boot would
be too big to control the gas pedal). Then I need to change from the shoe back to the boot before I get out of the car. ehehe Ever thought about how to do that
with a monster pup trying to play with the crutches and the boot and climb in your lap? ehehe
Anyway, I am now back in the house. No walking around outside unless absolutely necessary. No walking the dog. Just sit in the house and try to keep the walking around in here to a minimum. |

First, what's wrong with the laptop you have now? To clarify, networking means a hub (box) that you stick cables in and then one of those cables feeds to
your pc and one to your laptop so when you don't want to use the laptop you simply unplug the cable.
Second, do you have enough groceries so you don't have to go out again for a while? Can Linda take the dog for a while?

Got all my groceries for the week on Sunday. Won't need to go out for anything until next Sunday. So, I am fine on that score. Yiska won't be a
problem. He will just be lonely, because I won't be going out for walks with him. I will only be going out to feed him until this gets better. I feel sorry
for him already. ehehe But he wouldn't get much attention at Linda's either.
I know you are asking about him because he might jump up and knock me down. ehehe That won't happen. I know he jumps up and I am always braced for it and knock him back. We can handle it. ehehe Whats wrong with the laptop I have is that it is old and heavy and hasn't got the memory that the newer ones have. I was thinking about that this morning when I got up. I can hook it up to my dsl but I have to unhook my desktop computer to do it. But I wouldn't be able to play my Pirate game on it. Too much graphics for my old laptop. What it comes down to is, I WANT A NEW LAPTOP. LOL |

How ya doing today? When you get a new laptop make sure you tell them you need a good graphics card for your games.

Doing much better. Not even using the crutches today. I tried to not use the boot, but my ankle started to get little twinges, so I put the boot on.

Oh, btw, my blood test results came back and apparently I don't have enough vitamin D so my doc precribed 50,000 mg daily for a month and then I can use
over the counter vitamins. Found out it will not only help with my bones but also my diabetes and my memory! Who knew? Anyway, I'm most excited about the
last one!

Excellent news about the vitamins. I have been attempting to be consistant with taking my multi vitamins, too. Don't know why it is so easy to develope bad
habits and so difficult to cultivate good habits. ehehe

Well I'm home sick today with a cold today. Started out Tuesday evening with a burning, scratchy throat and this morning it's sneezing, coughing,

I do feel 100% better. I don't think it was a cold, I think it was a weather alert. Here lately whenever there's a weather front going through I get a
low grade temp and what feels like the beginnings of a head cold. Then the front is gone and so is my cold. Am I the only one who get this?

Sounds like when I get a sinus headache because of the humidity. Like today. ehehe Stormed last night and still lots of moisture and clouds and generally
dreary day today. Result.....I have a bit of a headache that starts right between my eyes and over the bridge of my nose. Soon it will include the area over
the top of my eyes.

It was finally cool enough yesterday to turn the AC off and open the windows.. YAY It rained part of the afternoon so I got most of my chores done. Now all I have to do it go to the grocery... Anyone willing to take over that chore for me? lol

Clouds are gone today.....bright sunshine!!! But I am still dealing with my sinus. Sneezing this morning and nose passages still blocked some. ehehe And it is
already too warm to be turning off or even down the AC.

Well, I did it again. Took a header while walking my dog yesterday morning. I tripped over him. ehehe He was all excited about the yard we were passing. He
wants to play with the dogs that live there. So, he gets all excited and hops around and as I walk he suddenly steps in front of my leg. Down I go.
Hit my left knee on the blacktop first and then the rest of the body hit the ground. Hands took the worst of it. I now have roadrash on the heel of both palms. Worst of that is the left palm. This morning I am achy in lots of places. At least nothing is broken. |
